  • AP Classroom and textbooks

  • Observation activities

Day 2

  • Hypothesis testing and Chi-Square (X²) lecture and activity

  • HW: Have an M&M null and alternate hypothesis ready!

Week of August 19-23

Day 1

  • DUE: M&M Hypotheses

  • Confronting “Big Chocolate” with X² lab

  • HW: X² Problem set

Day 2

  • Standard deviation (SD or σ) and standard error of the mean (SEM or SEx̅)

  • Are Double Stuff Oreos actually DOUBLE stuffed? lab

  • HW: SD/SEM Problem set

  • DUE: “Big Chocolate” with X² lab and X² Problem Set

Day 3

  • Finish lab, if needed

  • I am out today (8/22).

  • Turn in the Oreo Lab and the HW problem set to the tray. Please do not make corrections!!

  • Complete the “Graphing and Data Processing Pre- Assessment.” This should be done totally independently, with no resources except your brain! Put away everything except a writing utensil and calculator, until after you finish. This assignment is NOT FOR A GRADE, other than effort. Try your best, you got this!

  • Once finished, turn in to the tray!

  • In small groups (no more than 3), complete the Graph Analysis Activity found here! Share the slides with me by the end of class time, but can finish at home if needed.

  • DUE: Oreo Lab and SD/SEM Problem Set

  • When finished: Complete Water Challenge!

    1. 1. Watch + take notes on AP Daily video 1.1 (On AP Classroom)

    2. 2. Answer question correctly

    3. 3. With a partner, demo at least 2 properties of water using the provided supplies

  • HW: Watch + Take notes on 1.2- 1.4 AP Daily Videos, due next class!
